Prior to turning to photography full-time I worked in the “corporate world”. As a Head of Product Management for a large media company I’ve worked closely with Marketing and Sales teams. I’ve presented at conferences, I’ve helped design exhibitions, and I have given hundreds of presentations.

As a photographer I understand not just the image making aspects of photography but also how those images will be used in business.

Marketing photography has to look good, and it should represent the character of the company who commission the work, but it rarely gets placed front and centre. Images also have to fit it into the side-panels of reports and blur into the background of slides. My corporate experience greatly informs the photographic work I do for business clients.
