Athletes young and old put many hours of work into their training, but more often than not that hard work is only ever shown in the gym, the ring, on the track, or wherever they compete.
These times of physical perfection are fleeting and medals are not enough to celebrate the hard work now, and to remember it long into the future.

About Me
I have a simple dress code: if it’s not snowing, it's shorts weather!
But behind my seemingly shabby facade of shorts, old t-shirts and Vans is a love of good design, neatness, and a studious attention to detail.
I have a Masters degree in photography from Falmouth University and most recently I completed a Post-Graduate Certificate in Higher Education.
My work was recently included in the Royal Photographic Society Summer Exhibition.
Your Sports Portrait Shoot Includes…
Pre-shoot consultation to make sure I understand who you are and what you want from the shoot.
Shared Pinterest board so we can collaborate on ideas running up to the shoot. As the photos are likely to require physical exertion on the part of the model, I aim to ensure that we go into the shoot knowing what we want. This isn’t the time to take photos and just hope we get something nice.
A one-hour fully insured photographic session with requisite backdrop, lights etc.
Preview of all images on a laptop as we shoot so that we can review them together as we go.
Access to a personal gallery of all images taken for you to select from after the shoot.
Professional retouching of selected images (10 are included in the session fee.)
One-to-one consulting of framing and wall layout design, if required.
Printing and framing of completed images on standard photographic or archival fine-art papers by an award-winning commercial print house is priced separately.
I’ve worked with elite athletes, their coaches and choreographers to produce bespoke portraits for individuals as well as team projects ahead of shows, displays and international competitions.
The work produced has been used in exhibitions, publicity, and proudly hung on the walls of those I’ve worked with.
Sports portraits require true collaboration with the athlete to make sure they are pictured as they want to be seen. Rest, respect and attention to detail are all brought into the shoot to make sure it is safe and fun.
